He led captivity captive

 He led captivity captive

~~ He led Captivity Captive ~~

Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

All my life I have heard a false teaching that when Jesus arose from the grave many OT Saints also rose with him and that he then carried these folks up to heaven that same day and then returned to this earth. They say the above verse is speaking of these risen OT Saints. Have you ever heard that one? If you listened to any preachers or teachers I am quite sure we all heard this false doctrine. I have never believed that Jesus carried them up to heaven the day of his resurrection and then returned to the earth for 40 days and then went back up to heaven again. I have never heard that one till just recently. I always heard that those resurrected saints went into the natural city of Jerusalem and were seen by many folks during this 40 days before the ascension of Jesus.

I am afraid we have all been guilty of just accepting some doctrine because some preacher told us the thing. Everything God has ever taught me proved that everything others taught me was wrong. So I have learned that until God gives me the revelation of any verse, I do not know what it means and I just wait till then to teach it. But I have also been guilty of repeating the above lie about OT Saints rising at the time of the resurrection of Jesus. But one Scripture always caused me to question this matter. I could not understand why King David was not among the raised OT Saints, since he was the most prominent Saint of them all. Peter told us in Acts two that David is yet in his grave: Acts 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

See, Peter makes a point of assuring us all that David did not resurrect at the time of Jesus and that he did not ascend to heaven with Jesus. He said that David is not ascended into the heavens and that he is yet in his sepulchre or grave. This scripture has always caused me to question the thing about OT Saints resurrecting at the time of Jesus, yet I did not get into this study until a few days ago. I was debating with a ‘Jesus-only?preacher who claimed that Jesus carried those risen saints up to heaven the same day Jesus arose and then he returned to this earth. I challenged him on this and asked for a Scripture quote saying this. Instead of trying to prove his false doctrine, he just attacked me with many ugly words and false accusations.

This is their defense when they are called down on their false teachings. He knew he had no Scripture stating this lie, so he just went to calling me bad names instead of admitting this and seeking the truth.

This is how people act who are not truly interested in learning the truth. They try to base this lie on the fact that Jesus told Mary not to ‘touch?me yet, for I have not ascended to my Father. Then later he told Thomas to feel me and handle me. So in their own carnal reasoning, they add to the Word of God, and make up a lie. Instead of seeking God for the true revelation, they just add something from their own mind. This is a sin punishable by eternal death in hell. Yet they fear not to do this thing over and over. They claim that between the visit with Mary and Thomas, that Jesus had ascended to heaven and back. Such a lie! They claim that leading captivity captive is speaking of carrying those raised OT Saints to heaven. Now that just did not make sense to me. If he had them still captive, what good was it?

But I want the truth, so I asked God what does that mean? I have never understood what that term means. I know it has been taught by just about everyone that it means taking those OT risen saints to heaven, but that just did not make sense to me. Also it did not make sense that David would not be among those raised saints, since he is called the man after God’s heart. So I have always questioned this matter.

A few years ago a friend and I were discussing the matter of Jesus telling Mary not to touch him. I asked God for this answer and upon reading all the scriptures on this, together, I saw that the ‘touching?meant to worship. Thomas was not told to do that kind of ‘touch? I need to show you that before proceeding with this message. Unless you see this you will continue to listen to the made up lies of man instead of accepting the truth of God’s word. Of course I know that most people are going to do that anyway. Very few people can accept the proven truth of God’s Word, because it crosses the lies of ‘their?man or church.

In order to get a full picture of any event in Scripture, you must read all of the verses pertaining to that event. All of it is not told in any one verse. This is why Jesus told us to search the Scriptures and study it.

Here is what Matthew told us: Mt 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

See that they worshipped him. Then he said to them, be not afraid: go tell my brethren. Why do you suppose Jesus told them be not afraid? It is all in the truth of leading captivity captive. This message will show you why he told these WOMEN, be not afraid. This is a most beautiful message.

Here is the only other time this is recorded: John 20:16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 20:18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

Jesus was not speaking here of Mary touching his feet with her hand. He was referring to the worship. He had not at this time been set up by God to be worshipped as our God. I know that the disciples also worshipped him when he first appeared to them. But this with Mary is the time it was revealed that it was forbidden at this time. So when Jesus told Thomas to feel and handle him, it was speaking of the mere touch of the physical hand. To Mary, he was speaking of the worship. There is not one single Scripture stating that Jesus ascended to heaven to his Father before entering that room with his disciples. So that cannot be the right answer. Any true interpretation of any verse MUST be clearly stated in some other Scripture. We cannot just make up stuff and teach it for doctrine. We must be able to quote it in the Word of God. If it is not written, it is a lie.

Now for the correct interpretation of the leading captivity captive. I asked God that night what does this mean? He spoke right back to me with this: It did not say any OT Saints rose. God revealed to me that the saints arising after the resurrection of Jesus has NOT HAPPENED YET. It is prophecy yet to be fulfilled. It fits exactly what Paul wrote in 1Corinthians 15. So, let’s prove this with the only verse stating the rising of those saints.

Mt 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Mt 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Now this is the only place given which states this matter. So it cannot stand alone. It has to be established with some other place in Scripture. First take close note of the fact that it does NOT say ?B>OT Saints? as we have all been taught. ( In fact the term, OT Saints, is not once recorded in all Scripture). That is what God showed me that night as I asked him for this answer. It says, MANY BODIES of the SAINTS which slept arose. I have also run into a false teaching which says that our bodies will never be raised, that we go on to be with Jesus, in a glorified body as soon as we die. But see this said that their BODIES arose. So the Scripture proves all the false doctrines to be just that, LIES.

But notice that it also told us when. It said AFTER his resurrection. First let’s show how many arose.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Ro 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

The above Scripture has much truth in it. Notice verse 12 shows us that it was by one MAN, not some angel, who brought sin and death upon ALL men. So it was by Adam that all men became sinners. Notice verse 15. This shows that the word MANY refers to ALL. By one man death came on ALL men. Through the offence of one, MANY be dead. So this proves that the MANY is also ALL. Verse 19 shows that by this one man, Adam, many, or all, were made sinners. It also shows that by one man, Jesus, MANY were made righteous. So all were sinners. The Many who come to Jesus are ALL the righteous.

So then the MANY bodies which arose was ALL the righteous or ALL the saints who slept. It did not say OT Saints. It said MANY. So this many is the same MANY as in the above verse. It is all God’s Word, so we must find the answers from all Scripture together.

It said those that SLEPT. So let’s find that in Scripture. Prove all things with the Written Word, else it is just made up lies of man.

1Cor 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 1Cor 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Again we have Scripture saying that ALL die in Adam. In Christ ALL shall be made alive. This ALL is the MANY who arose. Christ arose and became the first fruits of them that SLEPT.

Acts 13:35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

So this proves that this kind of sleep is referring to death. It shows that David slept, or died and saw corruption. Peter told us he is yet in his grave and is not, after Pentecost, yet ascended to heaven. We also know that many others are shown to be asleep when they died.

1Thes 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

When?

1Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Now notice that this word, AFTERWARD, means the same thing a thing as in Matt. 28, the saints arose AFTER his resurrection. See this does not say how long or how soon AFTER his resurrection. It just said AFTER. It did not say IMMEDIATELY after. But see that Paul made it clear in 1Cor 15:23, that this is AT HIS COMING.

When?

1Cor 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

So this shows that the resurrection of all that slept will be at the last or seventh TRUMPET. Both 1Thes 4:16 and 1Cor 15:52 says that it will be with the trump of God. This means those seven trumpets in Revelation. The seventh trumpet clearly shows to be this resurrection. Scripture must interpret Scripture. No one verse can stand alone and be rightly interpreted, for this would be a private, or ‘alone?interpretation.

Another thing which caused me to question the false teaching was this in Hebrews: Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

If you read all of chapter 11, at those mighty OT Saints of FAITH, then see that this says that WITHOUT US they should not be made perfect, or glorified. This proves to me that the OT Saints could not have been resurrected and carried to heaven before we are. Also Jesus said that the first shall be last and the last shall be first. See, absolutely nothing in Scripture shows any resurrection of OT Saints ahead of the NT Saints. All of the above Scriptures caused me to question this false teaching of the raising of OT Saints at the time Jesus was raised. Yet I had not noticed that it does NOT say OT saints, until God brought this to my attention a few nights ago. See, some man added those words to God’s word, thus making a lie and preventing people from seeing what is truly being said about this matter. And I can assure you, most people who might ever read this will hang onto their false belief and refuse the truth. Jesus said they love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Re 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Re 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Now this clearly shows that the resurrection, at the time of the setting up of the thousand years reign, is the FIRST resurrection. So no resurrection of Saints occurred at the time of the resurrection of Jesus. Paul clearly said those who are raised AFTER, will be at his coming. This ‘coming?is NOT referring to his resurrection. It refers to his return to this earth. I know some claim that he will never return, but did it at the time of his resurrection. But see that the book of Acts, after that, said this same Jesus shall in like manner come AGAIN. So we must learn to always go by the written Word of God, not some person’s carnal interpretations.

Now the Scripture in Matt. 28, said that these risen saints went into the HOLY City. This was another ‘question?in my mind. I know that the earthly Jerusalem is NOT any holy city. It is the mother of harlots which Jesus pronounced to be desolate. Of course this pertains to the old law system. But it is called ‘Jerusalem? So then what is the Holy City? Again, let Scripture tell us.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Re 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Now this is the only explanation in Scripture of what the Holy City truly is. It says here that it is new Jerusalem. It says that it is the bride of Christ. It says that it is the tabernacle of God. So we know then that it is our bodies, made perfect. Our body is the temple of the Lord, not some man-made building or natural city. So then, the resurrected, glorified Saints are the Holy City. So going into the Holy City means they were glorified and became part of this bride of Christ. See that it said this is after the first heaven and first earth had passed away. This does not fit back at the time of the resurrection of Jesus. So these raised saints did not go into the earthly Jerusalem and appear to people at that time, as we have been taught. This is the appearing of the saints as mentioned in Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

So this proves that we are still looking forward to glorious appearing of Jesus Christ and then we shall appear with him in glory. This is when raised saints will go into the Holy city and not before. It has not happened yet. Those who teach that the resurrection is past already, overthrow your faith and their words eat as a cancer. So beware of such false teachers.

Now that I have solidly proven, with written Scripture, that no OT Saints arose at the time of Jesus?resurrection, I will now show you what the Word of God tells us that leading captivity captive means.

First we must learn what the captivity is or was. What were we all in captivity to? It is sin. It is the mortal flesh, or death, which passed upon all because of sin. It is not calling the saints of God the captivity. We were the ones who were in captivity. Jesus was also in captivity to mortal flesh.

Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 7:24 O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Now that tells us that we were in captivity to the law of sin and that this body we are now in is a body of death. So we are all in captivity to the law of sin and death, until we come into Jesus Christ.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

[Part 2]

See then that after we come into Jesus Christ we are no longer under that condemnation to the law of sin and death, which Adam brought all into. Being in captivity, or a captive, is also the same thing as being in bondage. Bondage and captivity are the same thing. Peter shows in Acts 15 that the law of Moses was a heavy bondage. So to be under law is to be a captive or in bondage. Any slave or bond person, is to be ruled over. Jesus said that with his true people, we will not rule over others. Under grace no one rules over others. We are all ONE, or equals

This is how God made Adam and Eve in the beginning. Only after their sin, did they fall from Grace, and therefore Adam was set to rule over his helpmeet. This actually did away with her being a helpmeet, leaving them open to all manner of sin and evil. Thus the woman was brought into bondage or made a captive to her own husband, to whom she was supposed to be a helpmeet. She could no longer do this, or be his protector, since he was made to rule over her.

God did not make Adam to rule over Eve. They did this error by disobeying God and partaking of law. The law requires animal sacrifices, which God hated. The law brings women under bondage, which God hated. The law permits servants, which God hates. So then, nothing about law pleases God. It is not his way of life. But men chose this evil way of life, because they wanted to rule over others, or to be as gods, = being looked up to and thus, worshipped. But watch what happens to THEM as they bring the woman into bondage, or captivity: Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

So then when the man brings others into captivity, or bondage, they themselves also go into captivity. Thus the entire race of humans was under this captivity. This sin of going to the law tree brought many, or all, into this captivity to death, or mortality.

So, man cries out, oh wretched man that I am. Who shall deliver me from this body of death. Only Jesus can deliver us. And that is just what he did. That is just what he led captive. He did not take OT saints up to heaven. This would not amount to leading captivity captive. Jesus took our sins, and our bondage, and did away with it, or led it captive. He did away with the body of sins or death. He did away with men ruling over women. He set us FREE. He told all slave owners to set them free, or give them equality. He said to break every yoke. This means stop holding anyone under bondage, or captivity. Set everyone FREE. All who refuse to do this, are themselves servants of corruption.

Gen 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

So, all flesh had corrupted God’s way upon earth. God’s way was equality, or all being ONE. God had made Adam and Eve on equal grounds. Corrupt men go to his pronouncement of their punishment, where he told them the man would rule over the woman, and try to claim that this is God’s chosen way. It is not true. God did not set it this way. He was only telling them what the result of their sin was. But when Jesus came up out of that grave, he had conquered all of this sin and evil. He had perfectly obeyed God in everything. Therefore he had set the captives free. It was the Jubilee of God. All the servants, or slaves, or bondwomen, were to be set FREE. This was God’s way. Jesus alone had brought the human race into God’s Holy Way.

But what do we find? That beast raised his ugly head right back up again. The men flat refused to set the women, their own wives, FREE. It has caused the same violence, hate, and disrespect for women all over again. It robs women of their rightful place in the work and fellowship of God. It robs God of the glorious work women could and would do if they just knew they were FREE. Even when women are not married, and God puts them into His ministry, men still try to stop her and bring her back into this captivity. I have been told personally, by these hateful men, that they despise my spirit. Yes, they hate this spirit of FREEDOM. So they hate the work of Jesus, when he ascended up on high, and led this captivity captive. He did away with it. He captured this captivity and carried it away. And gave gifts to men. Men in this case means all of humanity. All of humanity was set FREE by Jesus. In Christ there is neither male nor female. Without this knowledge, you will never understand what took place here as Jesus led captivity captive.

It was not something or someone he took up to heaven. No. It was to us, still on earth, that he led us out of captivity. When he ascended up to God and sat on the throne of God, he had completed this work of breaking every yoke, or the captivity of everyone. He led us out of that evil captivity. He had delivered us from the bondage of death. He had freed us from the law of sin and death. He had given us life, eternal life. Mortality had been swallowed up by life. Victory had been won. This is why Jesus told Mary not to fear. Why? He had set her free to carry that message to his men disciples. He was telling her not to fear to obey his word, to go tell my disciples that I have risen.

This is exactly why both the angel of the Lord, and Jesus, had not appeared to Peter and John when they were at the tomb. But they both waited until those men left and returned to their own home, before they appeared FIRST to Mary and spoke these words to her. FEAR NOT, MARY. I have led that captivity captive. I have done away with your punishment for sin. You are now FREE. You are now able to minister as the helpmeet I created you to be. You may now  protect the man from being led astray by other men. Glory to Jesus.

See that if the captivity had been resurrected OT Saints, and Jesus led this captivity

captive, it would mean they were still under captivity. This is why that saying never made any sense to me. I could not understand what this was saying, led captivity captive.

I knew in my heart this is saying that whatever was the captivity was STILL being led CAPTIVE. So it was still in captivity! So if it meant leading those souls to heaven, how could they still be captive? Does not make any sense at all, yet men have always told us this is what it means. I see that none of them have sought God for His true revelation. They just took up other men’s false ideas and carried them. This is what the helpmeet was for, to protect the man from this ‘men with men’ thing. It is spiritual, not fleshly. Men with men is not natural in any spear of life. It was to be man and woman. That is how God made it.

But see that men refuse this female helpmeet, and placed her into bondage and took up men leaders, creating perverted doctrine. Everything I have ever heard men teach is lies of other men. I have not yet heard one man teaching the real truth. This desire to rule over others and be gods has blocked them from FREEDOM. They are still in that captivity of bondage of law. By the law, men rule over others. It is not so in grace. So they are all still in the captivity and have not accepted the deliverance Jesus gave. It was not so in that early apostolic church. The women worked in the gospel right alongside the men. Paul and Peter both mentioned the women who worked with them in the GOSPEL. Mary and Elizabeth both prophesied the Word of God. So did Hannah, Samuel’s mother. Many other women prophesied the Word of God and it is recorded in Scripture. Yet these bondage-keepers, men who refuse to set the captives free, refuse to acknowledge any of this. So all they could come up with was a false doctrine that many OT Saints rose back then, and having been in captivity, were led captive still by Jesus. Since they have corrupted the way of God on earth, they cannot find any truth.

Jesus came and set back up the way of God on this earth. This is why he appeared first to a woman, and commissioned her to carry the very first message of the gospel of Grace to the men. He had led that captivity captive. He had delivered us from the bondage of CORRUPTION.

Being in captivity is exclusively an Old Testament way of life. Jesus delivered us in the New Testament, or Grace, from captivity. The opposite is for us, which is FREEDOM. If a person is still under captivity, or bondage, they are still under the law, or that old covenant, which God did away with. Jesus led that captivity captive, and then gave the gifts of the Spirit and the ministry to men, (humanity). Sure, the rules for that law are written in the NT Scriptures, because that old head of law raised right back up. Men refused this freedom which Jesus gave all people. They wanted to keep their servants, their ‘in-bondage-wives’ So because of this, they themselves are also still in bondage to that law. By the law there is no justification of life. It is not of faith. Faith takes us back to God’s original way of life, which is EQUALITY, or you are ALL ONE.

The ultimate result of this freedom is the bondage of mortality being done away with. This occurs at the resurrection. So Jesus was given his immortal body at his resurrection. This is the full deliverance from the captivity to corruption. This full deliverance will be given to only those who accept and give full freedom. These are the many saints who arose AFTER his resurrection, at his coming, and are given their glorified bodies, or complete deliverance from corruption. Law is the corruption of God’s way on earth. Men ruling over their wives or anyone else is corruption of God’s way on earth. Jesus led this captivity captive. He did away with it. In its place is no condemnation, no bondage, no captivity, no more captives.

Look up captivity and captive. You will see that it is all over the Old Testament. The places it is mentioned in the New Testament are referring back to that captivity of the OT. It is amazing to me that there are only three times in all Scripture where this term is used together, captivity captive. Here they are: Jud 5:12 Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.

Awake also means the resurrection. So see here that it is speaking of the resurrection, (in spirit) of this lady ruler of Israel, Deborah. Utter a song. This refers to the New move of God, resurrection. Barak would not go to the battle unless Deborah went with him. So he is told also to arise, and lead thy captivity captive. It is purely prophecy for what Jesus did. They did it in the type, and Jesus did it for all time. They, Deborah and Barak, led those who held them in captivity, captive. In other words, they took their oppressors captive. Those who held them in bondage were taken into bondage or captivity. But notice that this was a job which was done only by the male and female working together. Barak, a type of Christ, here, would not go to the battle without Deborah. How different the men of the church today are. They refuse the help of the Deborah’s.

The only other time this is mentioned in the OT was in prophecy for the time when Jesus did this: Ps 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

This is the same as the one time in the NT: Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

So then, since this is the only three times this term is used in all the Word of God, it cannot refer to any other event. So no one can use this and prove that it meant taking some resurrected saints to heaven back then. It is certainly not true. It comes from the corrupted minds of corrupt men who hold the truth in unrighteousness and refuse to accept the freedom Jesus brought to us ALL. They think only men were set free. So their corrupt minds could not get this truth. They follow other men’s lies and have not the anointing of God teaching them truth.

So now, let’s examine that entire passage and see the wonderful truth revealed here: Eph 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Notice verse 7. Grace is given to every one of us, men and women alike. It is according to the measure of the gift of Christ. See he gave us this gift. But it can only come to those who accept his deliverance of all the captives, including women. Then it puts down the false teaching that it was some other Jesus who did this. But see it shows that it is the very same Jesus who descended first into the lower parts of the earth. It is the very same one who descended which ascended up. This same Jesus will come again in like manner as you see him go. Then He gave the gifts for the ministry, for the perfecting of the saints till we all come into the unity of the faith that he gave us. Till we all come unto the stature of a perfect man. See then that all humans of faith, both men and women, are included in this one perfect MAN. It is the fullness of Christ Jesus in his body, the pure Church. We grow up so we are no more tossed about by the false winds of doctrine by cunning men who lie in wait to deceive you. The whole body grows up and is fitly joined TOGETHER, BEING nourished by that which EVERY JOINT SUPPLIES.

Now there is the problem with this modern world church. They do not allow the female joints of this whole body to act in their part of the gift, to nourish the body with their gift. See that every joint must supply something to this body. But men who desire to rule over others, denying them this freedom from captivity, will not allow the joints to act as a whole. They refuse the nourishment being supplied by the women of this body. They are part of this whole body, and therefore MUST supply their part of nourishment to the body, in order for it to ever grow up to this full statue of the Man, Christ Jesus.

So all the men who refuse to set women FREE, give them their rightful place in the ministry, of feeding the body of Christ, are blocking this body from maturing into the perfect statue of this full grown man, Christ. And as is plain from looking around you, and also from the Word of God, this last church is in the worst shape of them all. It is dead. It is not even alive anymore. They have killed it by starvation. The men of this church have refused to allow the women joints to nourish this church, so it died. So the body which matures rightly will not include these kinds of men. Only a body working in perfect harmony with every other part, will become part of this perfect MAN, or body of Christ.

Awake, Awake, Deborah. Arise Barak. Lead thy captivity captive. See? It took them both, male and female. The spirit and the BRIDE (female) say come. Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Isa 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Isa 61:1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Re 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

rejecting the helpmeet

~ Rejecting the Helpmeet ~~

Adam and Eve were created on EQUAL grounds. She was there to help him keep things right, and not go into sin. He despised this, as she was the one with the power. Adam was not doing so good all alone. And it is not that he needed fleshly companionship, as men suppose. He was not doing good spiritually. Eve was not made to be a sex thing for Adam. She was made to lead him into a true walk with God. God had said it is not good for the man to be alone.

He hated her for being there. She was not placed there as a ‘possession’ or ‘plaything’ for Adam. She was there to lead him to spiritual perfection. She was his protection. This is what it means, she was made for the man.

It most certainly does NOT mean that she was there for his sexual pleasure. That is nowhere mentioned in Scripture. It was brought up by the carnal, lustful minds of men, in their fallen and degraded state of being reprobate.

Adam was not told to rule over Eve UNTIL AFTER THEY SINNED. It was the punishment for their sin. It was just as much punishment to him, as to her. It led him into more sin and violence than the world can stand. So God destroyed them with the flood, because of this very thing. It is now headed to destruction again, because of this very thing…..dealing treacherously with the wife of their youth!

Here is proof that this thing of taking more than one wife was the primary cause of all the violence in the world, and why God called them evil:

Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Ge 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Ge 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Ge 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Ge 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Ge 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Ge 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Ge 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Ge 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Ge 6:10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Ge 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Ge 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

The above is dealing solely with this thing of man taking more than one wife. This is how they had corrupted his way upon the earth. If it was corruption then, it is even more so now. Jesus came and set things back the way God had them in the beginning. He told them it was not so from the beginning. But they have trampled the blood of Jesus and went right back to their old ways of rebelling against God and having as many women as they choose. It is the reason violence fills the earth. God connected this sin with the earth being filled with evil and violence.

So when the man puts the wife, his helpmeet, down, he is bringing about confusion, evil, violence and rebellion to God’s way upon earth. Nothing but destruction can follow this rebellious way of life.

The entire Old Testament way of life was an ABOMINATION to God. So he did away with it and brought back up EQUALITY with Jesus and his Apostles.

That first and only true Church had all things EQUAL.

They were all ONE. There was neither male nor female, for they were all EQUALS again.

But now, men have taken it right back to bondage for the woman. That is the ONLY reason Paul told them THEIR women could not speak….they had gone right back to that dead head of LAW. This again caused them to be fallen from Grace and into eternal death.

Men, is it worth it to you, to just live to satisfy your own ungodly lust? You are to blame for all the evil, the violence and destruction brought up on this earth, from the Day Adam led Eve astray, until this day. Besides that, you will lose your soul in hell fire.

It will never be right on this earth, until the Woman is again in her rightful place as THE HELPMEET, or the aid, protection and succor, or leader of her husband. Look up the word in Strong’s Hebrew. This is exactly what the word, Helpmeet, means.

Now fight this if you will. it is the solid truth of God.

Only because of sin and fallen man, was the woman ever told to be ruled over. It was PERVERSION OF GOD’S WAY, and will always lead to death, violence and destruction of mankind.

It is not a fallacy of the western women. It is God’s only chosen way of life…. to be EQUALS. There is no true Christianity without EQUALITY.

God’s kingdom is one of total EQUALITY . That is why men have tried to reduce the eternal, infinite God down to just 1 or 3. They hate this innumerable host being able to be in total equality and perfect love, with no jealousy, envy or competition among themselves.

No, men cannot live this way. They cannot lower their pride and submit to others, as God requires.

God told Abraham to submit to the words of Sarah. He did so, even to sending his beloved Son away.

Sarah is the one to whom God gave this revelation to send the bond child away. He could not be heir with the free child.

Now men are subjecting their wives to the horror of having to share her husband with other women. It was never of God and will never be of God.

Men today cannot take the truth. They will delete this, ban me, as it is done on every site I attempt to teach God’s truth on.

Men today hate God’s truth. That is why they deny the Father and say Jesus is the Father of himself. Such vomit!!!

Jesus did not teach this lie. Neither did the Apostles, whom they falsely claim to be like.

Not one Apostle had more than one wife. Not one man on that ark had more than one wife. It was only those rebellious men under law, or the old dead covenant, sanctified by the blood of animals, who took more than one wife. It was an abomination to God. Isa one and 66. But men reject the glorious revelation which God has given to his DAUGHTER.

Yet Jesus ignored Peter and John at his tomb, and waited and sent Mary out with the first message of the resurrection. She was the very first human person to know this glory.

Jesus did that for a definite purpose….that of exalting those of low degree. The women…whom the rebellious son, Adam, had drug down.

Oh I know that even the women are so down-trodden with false doctrine that none of you can accept this glorious truth.

But peace and joy and love and lack of violence will NEVER BE ON THIS EARTH UNTIL THINGS ARE SET BACK ON EQUAL GROUNDS AS GOD FIRST MADE IT.

HIS original way is the only right way.

He did not make a mistake when He gave the power to Eve. He did not make a mistake when He made her the HELPMEET. He did not make a mistake when he brought his holy son, Jesus, into this world WITHOUT THE HELP OF SINFUL MAN, BUT USED A HOLY WOMAN.

The evil was in that man, so God by-passed him in the birth of Jesus. Jesus was and is the SEED OF THE WOMAN.

In putting her down, you are putting Jesus down. He is HER SEED. He is not the man’s seed.

Men are so carnal minded that they think God was speaking of natural childbirth when he multiplied her conception and sorrow. It was spiritual childbirth. That is why Christians have always had so much persecution. God said in your suffering you are made perfect. See? Suffering, sorrow in childbirth. It took Jesus to that cross! It began with Abel being killed, and Eve being so mistreated.

You men are so carnal minded, that all you can think of is sex. You cannot see spiritual things. It was not speaking of natural childbirth. She is not saved by natural childbearing. She can only be saved, same as you men, by SPIRITUAL CHILDBEARING. Eve and Abel went through much sorrow and suffering to come forth as children of God. Adam and Cain were their persecutors. Tilling the ground means to bring people into bondage. So Adam and Cain brought Eve and Abel into bondage and tried to rule over them. When they clung to the things of God, they were persecuted and murdered. Eve repented to God and became a Holy Woman as she was created to be. According to Malachi, Adam dealt treacherously against her and divorced her and took other wives. This truth has been hidden to the world, but God is now revealing the truth to me. All Scripture is telling us the things which happened back then. It is hidden all through Scripture, but the Spirit of truth reveals it.

Unless you bear a child for God, a son of God, you will end up in hellfire.

And since you reject the help of the wife, you have no help.

This is the truth of God ‘s word, no matter how many rise up and curse it.

You will be held accountable for what you do with this truth.

twice dead

(39) Twice dead, plucked up by the roots – Build on the True Foundation

Re 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.Jer 50:11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls; 50:12 Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. 50:13 Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues. 50:14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD. 50:15 Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her. 50:16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

the double portion

(39) The Double Portion – Build on the True Foundation

~~ The Double Portion ~~

Deut. 21: 17
But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath : for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.
The firstborn son had a birthright, in the OT.  He was to receive a double portion of all that his father had.
2kings 2: 1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.
3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said  Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace . 4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said , As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. 5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered , Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace .
6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry , I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said , As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on . 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went , and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. 8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together , and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over , that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said , I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 10 And he said , Thou hast asked a hard thing : nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on , and talked , that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried , My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. 13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back , and stood by the bank of Jordan; 14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said , Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over . 15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said , The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. 16 And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men ; let them go , we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the LORD hath taken him up , and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said , Ye shall not send .

Elisha types Christ.  He is the firstborn for the NT Covenant.  He was the first one up in the resurrection.  Jesus is the firstborn from the dead, so the double portionbelongs to him.
Now when placing Jesus with Adam, Adam would be the firstborn and have the right to the birthright, or double portion.
But Adam sinned as did Esau.  Adam did not care for this birthright.  He wanted to be above  God, so did not receive that double portion.  It went to the younger brother, Jacob.  Jacob here types Jesus Christ and desired to have that birthright or double portion.

Esau also types the law, which was the first covenant. But this covenant was hated by God as was Esau.  The law could not fulfill the wishes of God, being weak through the flesh.  So God had to turn to another source to find deliverance from sin for mankind.  This failing of the law sets it with the hated Esau and sinning Adam, thus depriving this law covenant the right of the double portion.

What the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own son in the likeness of sinful man, (Rom 8), brought forth salvation and thus became the firstborn in the Spirit.  This set the New Covenant, or Jesus, up to receive the double portion.

Elijah had a great power with God.  Everyone in his day recognized him as the main prophet of God.  Elisha became a follower of Elijah.  When it came time for God to take Elijah up, he keeps saying to Elisha, I am going over there, you stay here.  But Elisha said, no way.  I am not going to leave you.  So he went all the way with Elijah to the Jordon, refusing to take his eyes off Elijah.

He knew something great was about to happen and he determined to be in on it.  He was longing for a double portion of the power he saw on Elijah.  When they came to the Jordon Elijah smites the water with his mantle and the waters parted and they walked to the other side on dry ground.

The sons of the prophets stood afar off, watching.  They represent those who serve God afar off and never move in close enough to really get in on the power of God.   They also knew something great was about to happen, but they only wanted to get a small glimpse of it.  They did not desire to be in on it.  They are the carnal minded, luke warm Christians.

But Elisha was determined to get that double portion or the birthright.  He has that same determination we saw in Jacob.  He is willing to do whatever it takes to obtain that birthright and double portion.  It means everything to these who truly love God.

Then Elijah asks Elisha what he wants him to do for him, before he is taken away.  Elisha did not hesitate.  He already knew what he wanted.  He said, I want a doubleportion of your spirit.  Elijah said, you have asked a HARD THING.  But if you see me when I am taken, it shall be yours.
Why would it be a HARD THING?  Because it is seeking the greatest power of God to rest upon oneself.  It is transferring that birthright, double portion of the firstborn to the younger. In this case, it represents that new covenant of Grace as the younger.  Law is being destroyed because God hated it.  The younger or New Grace Covenant is being given the right of firstborn or the double portion.  So this is why it would be a hard thing.

The disciples followed Jesus out to Bethany.  They would not leave him for they knew something great was about to happen.  They wanted a double portion of his Spirit.  They now had the revelation of Scripture, because Jesus had opened their understanding to the Word of God, after his resurrection.
Those disciples now understand what was going on there with Elijah and Elisha.  They now knew what to do.  They were not going to take their eyes off Jesus, but would see him when he was taken.

And so they did.  Ye men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus shall come again, in like manner.  So Elisha picks up that mantle which fell from Elijah as he went up.  He now goes back to the Jordon.  He is excited, I am sure.  But he still has to prove it and put it to the test.
So he rolls up the mantle of Elijah and smites the waters of the Jordon, just as Elijah had done.  He said, where is the Lord God of Elijah?  See, he is seeking to prove that God is now with him as he was with Elijah.  He had watched and had seen Elijah go up.  That mantle had fallen upon him.  He now possess the power which had been in Elijah, only now, it was DOUBLE.

The waters rolled back and he went across on dry ground!  My, what a moment in mankind.  The 50 prophets watching, knew immediately that Elisha was now the anointed prophet of God.  They came and bowed to him, ready to accept his leadership.

Jesus had said to his disciples, if ye see me go, the same works that I do shall you do and GREATER, because I go to my Father.  They would not leave him for they wanted that power.
When the Day of Pentecost was fully come, those 120 were together in one mind and one accord, waiting expectantly for the mighty power of God to fall upon them.  They now KNEW what this thing with Elijah and Elisha was showing.  So they waited.  And then the great rushing mighty wind of the Lord fell upon them, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance.  They now had the double portion of Jesus’ spirit.

They could now do the mighty works he had done and greater.  They came out with this great power, healed the sick, raised the dead, converted thousands to Christ in one day.  Even Peter’s shadow could heal the sick.  We have no record of Jesus doing this.  Paul took handkerchiefs from his body and healed the sick.  We have no record of Jesus doing this.  A poison snake hung on his hand and it did him no harm.  We have no record of Jesus doing this either.  Greater works than this shall you do, for you will have the double portion.

The disciples had stood there watching and waiting.  What for?  They were waiting for the ‘mantle’ of Jesus to fall on them.  They knew it was supposed to come down.  But see, the angel let them know it was not time yet.  Go back to Jerusalem and WAIT.  And so they did.  Ten days later, they were endued with power from on high.  Now they can go out and turn the world upside down.  And they did.

One couple lied to Peter, or as he said, to the Holy Ghost and dropped dead.  Jesus never did this.  Greater works shall you do.  Glory!  A double portion.  Not only for salvation, but for judgment.

The 50 sons of the prophets were lukewarm and lacking in faith. They seek to be allowed to go and search for Elijah.  Perhaps God was not able to take him all the way?  Perhaps he took him part the way up and dropped him on a mountain?  NO, do not go.  Do not go search.  God has not dropped him.  Well, we think perhaps God did drop him.  There are 50 strong men with us.  Let us go search and we will prove that God did not do as he said.  He was not able to take Elijah into heaven alive.

Finally Elisha was ashamed to keep on with this silly debate and he said, go then.  After searching three days, these faithless ones come back to report that for all their mighty strength, they could not find Elijah.

Fifth strong men from Satan cannot stop the glorious power of God.  A stronger than he is here and will stop him and take away his armor in which he trusted.  He trusted on the arm of FLESH.  We are 50 strong men.  Didn’t I tell you not to go?  Why didn’t you believe and listen to the one who now has that mantle?  Why do you refuse to be water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and receive the Holy Ghost as those anointed sons of God told you to do?  They had the power, so why did you not believe them?  Oh, you trusted in the arm of flesh.  You trusted in church, but not in the Living God to keep his promises.  He can’t heal the sick today.  He is not able.  He can’t give miracles today. He lost his power.  He can’t give the Holy Ghost today.  We can’t speak in tongues today.  Our church says so.  They are 50 strong men and cannot do this thing.  God probably has rejected us today.  He let them fall in the wilderness or the mountains.  But you better run to the doctors today, for God is not in the healing business anymore.
Oh ye of little faith.  How will you get across that Jordon?  You cannot part the waters.

There was a firmament in the heavens.  They were to part or separate the waters = peoples of God from the peoples of Satan. The disciples did just that.  The true disciples still do just that today.  We can still part those waters.  Those of us who receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost still have that double portion.  We know that God has not lost any of his power nor will he refuse those who believe.  Ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.

That early church had the great power of God and turned the world upside down.  Now it went into apostasy and fell away from Grace, back to law and lost that great power. Thus those witnesses of Jesus Christ lay ‘dead’ in the ‘streets’ for those three days that the lukewarm prophets sought for Elijah.  They did not believe God had the power to deliver.  So they lay dead in the streets.  But Elisha (that early church) had a DOUBLE PORTION.
So they will rise again. They will one more time turn the world upside down and prove one more time that God has not lost one ounce of his power or willingness to heal the sick, raise the dead and change vile people into Saints of God.

See, that Church will once again be endued with power from on high, with a second Baptism.  This time the baptism of Fire, to do what those others could not do, which is to bring the wrath of the Lamb or judgment on this wicked world.  So they have a double portion and therefore will have a second outpouring of the power of God.  This true Church of the living God will show up again on this earth.  We will have that double portion for we are not taking our eyes off Jesus.  We will see him RETURN.  We will not be watching him GO.  We will be watching him RETURN.   His mantle will fall on us, that second witness.
Elisha shows that second witness.  Watch how he did much greater/more mighty works than Elijah had done.

2Kings 2: 19 And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth : but the water is naught, and the ground barren . 20 And he said , Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him. 21 And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said , Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

Jesus said, ye are the salt of the earth.  He cast the salt in and healed those ‘waters’ or people.
They had no water to remit their sins.  So the Apostles took them into water baptism for the remission of sins, and their land was healed.  They cast the salt in and healed those waters, or peoples, and they had no more death or barren land.  Now they are fruitful and bringing forth the fruits of the kingdom of Christ.  We are springs of Living waters.  We speak the words of Life and heal those waters.  This is our doubleportion.

Job 1: 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

This great man, Job, had his heart set wholly on God.  He had great riches and ten children. We know how Satan provoked God to come against Job to prove that Job would still serve God no matter what he went through.  So as it happened Job lost all his children and all his substance and then went through great personal suffering.  But through it all Job did not foolishly charge God or turn against God.  He still loved God no matter what he suffered.  BUT Job was showing something here.

In the first part, Job is showing that first, or law covenant.  He was offering up sacrifices for his and his children’s sins.  That system of law had to fall down.  It could not do what God wanted so it had to be destroyed.  As Job lost his children, (those of law), and all his earthly possessions, it is showing the destruction of that old law covenant.
His sufferings show the crucifixion suffering of Jesus, to destroy that law covenant and bring us into grace.

Jesus never foolishly cursed God or turned against him, but said, not my will but thine be done.  He went into death and hell.  He lost those first children, of old law.  But in those three days, that the lukewarm prophets sought for Elijah, Jesus rose from the dead and showed himself alive forevermore.  Those unbelieving prophets were put to silence.  Did not I tell you not to go?

Where was your faith?  Didn’t I tell you that in three days I would rise again?  Why did you search three days to try and find Elijah?  Just wait patiently and I will rise again, as I said unto you.
Isa. 49: 19 For thy waste and thy desolate places , and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants , and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away . 20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell . 21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children , and am desolate, a captive , and removing to and fro ? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been? 22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. 23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers , and their queens thy nursing mothers : they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

The above was spoken to Jesus, (in prophecy).  It is showing that in the land of his destruction, (where he was crucified), he lost those children.  But then he finds many more.  And He says, after I lost my other children, these, where had they been.  He now has many more than at the first.  He has increased, the double portion.  These people bow to him as those prophets bowed down to Elisha.

Back to Job:  After God brought Job back out of his suffering and captivity, he gave Job twice as much as he had had before.  Watch his children:

Job 42: 12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. 13 He had also seven sons and three daughters. 14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. 15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

See, that double portion here?  The LORD blessed the LATTER end of Job more than his beginning.  He gave him twice as much, that double portion.  But watch his children… He again has seven sons and three daughters.  In all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

This is the New Covenant of Grace.  Your sons and your DAUGHTERS shall prophecy, under this grace Covenant.  No more keeping the daughters silent.  They were given inheritance among their brethren.  This is the work of Jesus bringing again the EQUALITY which God had made to begin with, with Adam and Eve.  Now women are no longer prohibited.  Grace sets them all free.  Now we are all ONE.  In Christ there is neither male nor female, but we are all ONE, or equals.

Now that early church has a double portion.  The GLORY of this latter house shall be greater than the former house.  Law was the former house.  Esau is this former house.  Elijah was also showing this former house.  But Elisha received that doubleportion.  Jacob received that double portion.  Jesus received that double portion of God’s power.  The disciples received a double portion of the power of Jesus, doing greater works.

The Church in Peter’s day was now showing the former house, even though with the Law, it was the latter house.  It was much greater than the law house of Moses.  Yet it has such a great portion of a double portion, that it is allowed to return again, one more time, those witnesses will rise again and have a double portion of that first house at Pentecost.

So now those in these latter days will receive a double portion of that early house of the Church of Peter and Paul.  We will bring again the captivity of those lukewarm children of little faith.  When they see that mantle of Jesus on us, their faith will rise and see the glory of God.

We will bring the great power of God on this earth in so much that the dead will rise and come out of the graves into glorification.  Yes, the glory of this latter house will be much greater than the former house of either law or the Pentecost Church.
We will both bring the wrath of the Lamb or judgment on this wicked world, but then the dead saints of God will be raised into immortality and we will be a glorified Church with the double portion of the Spirit of Jesus.

Praise my precious God for this great message.

Study on Eve

study on Eve

Psalm 119….know that David did not write his auto-biography. He wrote what God told him to write; not about himself. but it is someone’s words….not as it looks, not David:

2 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.
Who could remember God’s JUDGMENTS OF OLD?

59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
(someone is repenting)

61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

this is not Jesus.
but it is a very important person in the works of God.

and there is much more. this chapter is full of it.

‘she’ cries out to God, with tears and all her heart…over and over…and this is how to move God. He came to her rescue and great things awaited her.

Psalms 25 is a real good one. I see where she said remember not my transgression many times and also where God forgave her. There is so much in Psalms about her.

Psalm 118: 17, 18. also 144: 7, 9

Ps. 18: 19 ,,, this chapter clearly describes the FLOOD, and how this one prayed for deliverance and was delivered,,,then this…19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me……what do you think this large place is….coming after this mighty flood that shook the foundations of the earth? who is this that was in that flood and came out of it? that was clearly being very mistreated before that flood?

41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the Lord, but he answered them not…I think this speaks of those who died in that flood.

48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man…..here she speaks of being delivered from THE VIOLENT MAN. this violent man is Adam.

cp 31: 8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room……here again she speaks of this LARGE ROOM.cp 31: 8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room……here again she speaks of this LARGE ROOM.

cp 32: 5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him…..too much in here that connects her with that flood.

Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

When will the world stop adding to God’s word, and believe what He said? He said by one MAN, sin entered this world. It never says by on woman. Yet this is what most people believe and say.

17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Someone show me a verse proving that God blamed Eve

1Cor 15: 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

so oo man had the power of death! so, man is satan. proven.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Malachi 3

Malachi 3

Malachi 3

1. Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

2. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

3. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Remember that Malachi is the last of the writing OT prophets. After His book, the plan of God turned to the NT Church.

The above verses are prophesies of John the Baptist and Jesus.

“I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me…..”

Now surely you know that this is speaking of John? It could be no other.

So now we are headed into the Church, right?

….and the Lord (Jesus) whom ye seek, shall SUDDENLY come to his temple…..”

Now what is this about?

What is the ‘temple’ of the Lord? Paul said we are his body. We, the NT Church, is his temple. Your body is the temple of the Lord. right? Sure.

So then what is this prophecy about? the Day of Pentecost, of course.

Proof? Sure.

Acts 2

1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2. And SUDDENLY there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Now Scripture must interpret Scripture. There is no other way of knowing the truth. we cannot guess at these things. We must not accept some man’s words for it. It must be written in God’s Book.

So look at verse two… SUDDENLY they were filled with His Spirit.

See? Fulfillment of Mal. 3:1.

The Lord they were seeking, those ten days in the upper room, they were praying and seeking the Lord; waiting for his PROMISE. What was his PROMISE?

Mal. 3:1. The Lord whom you seek shall SUDDENLY come to his temple.

So on the Day of Pentecost, the Lord they were seeking, SUDDENLY came into his temple = their bodies.

The Holy Ghost is that spirit, and that Spirit is the Lord.

So this chapter starts out with prophecy for the NT Church.

Verse 2…Who may abide the day of his coming? Here his fire and soap does his work of purifying the Now Spiritual Israel, the spiritual sons of Jacob. These ‘sons’ of Levi here are the NT priests. It is not those OT Levites. They never offered a pure offering to the Lord in righteousness. There was never any righteousness under that law. We are the ones who do that. We are the spiritual priests, the sons of Levi (Levi here is Jesus; he is called many things in the Word; he is called David in several places.)

Proof? Sure.

Romans 2: 28. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

He is not a Jew…….he is NOT…a Jew which is one outwardly. Get that? Those fleshy seeds of Abraham are NOT the true Children of God.

But he is a Jew, or Israelite, which is one inwardly. That is us. Those who received the infilling of the Holy Ghost as they did at Pentecost.

The Lord shall SUDDENLY come to his temple. This is the birth of the NT Church.

Malachi 3: 4.  Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

 5.  And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

 6.  For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

 7.  Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

  8.  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?

Verse 4– Then (when?)  After Pentecost —  shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD as in the days of old, as in former years.

Now this goes back to before the fall of man….these days of old.  After Pentecost, they began to offer their bodies a LIVING sacrifice, holy and ACCEPTABLE TO GOD.

See this is the sacrifice Abel was offering to God; for this is the only type of sacrifice God has ever accepted.  He never accepted the blood of slain animals for sin.  That could never take away their sin.

But now, the High Priest, Jesus has sat and refined these ‘sons’ of Jacob, and purified them.  Now they are clean.  Now they can offer themselves to God a LIVING, PURIFIED and acceptable sacrifice to God.  (Don’t you see here that this could not be the OT Jews?  They were never clean and purified.  The blood of animals could not do this.  If you say it is them, then you are saying they were cleansed from sin by the blood of animals.  This is blasphemy.)

This never happened in the OT under the law.

But look at verse five.  Now what?  He goes back to the cursed OT law group and says to them,  …..and.I will come near to you to judgment.  Here he judges the OT folks and cuts them off.  Lamentations is full of the cutting off of the OT.

He did not consume the sons of Jacob for he  brought them up on the other side of Calvary and grafted the obedient ones, there at Pentecost, into the New vine,  the Body of Jesus Christ.

This is the good Olive Tree.  Now they are grafted onto the Good Olive Tree, which is the NT Grace.

Now watch the conversation between them and God as he brought them to judgment.

Will a man rob God?  Yet ye have robbed me.  But  ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee?  Ye are cursed with a curse.

v13– Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD.

Yet ye say,  What have we spoken so much against thee?  Ye said it is vain to serve God.

Now read verse 7– Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them.

Return unto me, and I will return unto you , saith the LORD of hosts.   But ye said,  Wherein shall we return?

Now what is going on here?   Same thing which went on between God and their Father Adam.   God asked Adam what have you done.  Adam made excuses and did not confess or repent.

God came to Cain and reckoned with him.  He asked -Where is your brother Abel.  Cain said I know not.  Am I my brother’s keeper?

See the same kind of speech.  Calling God a lie; denying what he did.  Smart talking God; no reverence.

See, this is their ‘fathers’.  As their fathers did, so did they.

Now these people are doing as their fathers of old;  refusing to admit anything God told them they were guilty of.  They made up excuses and in fact are calling God a lie.

Therefore, they were cursed; cut off.  That which waxeth old and decayeth is ready to vanish away.

This is the fall of the OT.  They were cut completely off right here.

Then God turns to the NT Church which was cleansed by the Blood of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost;  thus becoming the TEMPLE of the Lord.

closed doors

God is closing doors

God is closing doors.
Come in to the truth, before it is too late; before all the doors are closed. not many are left open right now.

A few years ago, I was reaching people all around the globe, via MSN. Now that it is closed. I re-made five or six other websites to teach on. but none of them had the outreach that MSN had, or even a ‘religious section’ that I could reach people with.
So none of these other sites ever got back into being an active group with members.
Then I reached a lot of people through Yahoo questions and answers for a good while.
Then they messed that up so bad I just stopped using it.

Now the only place I have is this, Facebook. And I reach very few this way. The few do not wish to read, study or learn.

The churches teach nothing but lies. The people who attend are lukewarm toward God and he is going to spew them out of his mouth.

Those doors are closing…..If you have never gotten the revelation of the Book of Lamentations, you are missing something very needful.

I wrote messages from this book over ten years ago, called, ‘The Fall of the Old Testament’. God gave me the revelation of this message one morning as I was at work in a BP station. I opened my Scripture and it fell to Lamentations. I just glanced down at one verse…..and…wham….the revelation of the Fall of the OT came to me like a rushing wind.

I am going to go back and post some of them here. But for now, know that the OT law system was a total failure, which God always hated. It is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If you partake of this ‘tree’ it is DEATH.

There is a group of people who are not at all concerned with God or religion. that is called the ‘SEA’, in Scripture.

There are two other groups, called earth. They are carnal minded and have it all wrong; but they are religious as were the Pharisees. This is the law group, and the church group.

the church fell back from Grace to law. early on. even in Peter’s day. Those seven churches in Revelation are these carnal churches. This is all doomed to fall as did the OT.

That door is closing fast. God is closing it out. Oh, earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord.
Jeremiah said this…..but it was God’s word. three groups of dust folks, carnal minded folks who have no truth…sinners, law and church folks.

It is all the same to God, a lost and doomed Truth-hating group of folks that God is soon to do away with.

Unless you wake up…seek his truth…stop letting your ‘man’, your prophet..your pastor…your this or that stop you from seeking God and His truth, for yourself, you are going to fall when this carnal minded, idol worshiping ‘church’ falls. AND IT IS FALLING.

Jo Smith.

fall of the OT part 10

fall of the old testament. part 10

Lesson 10 on the Fall of the OT

This lesson will finish up the Book of Lamentations; but there will be other lessons on this subject. There are many good lessons of this in Jeremiah. We will cover some of this and maybe some other books. This will give you a good Bible study on this subject. This would be a good tool to help you in your personal ministry. We should all try to bring people out of the darkness of the law, into the light of Grace.

Chapter five:

Lam. 5:1 Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us; consider, and behold our reproach.

This is their acknowledgment of their having been made a reproach by God.

V2- [important verse-]-Our Inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.

These ‘strangers’ are the New T. Ministers and Christians. So this shows that they are now the ones who have inherited the things of God. Their ‘houses’ means their places of ‘worship’; so now, that has gone over to the New T. Church = the body of Christ.

V3-We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.

This is spiritual talk–it is not speaking of them as natural widows and orphans; it is speaking of the fact that God has divorced and rejected them. Now, they are no longer His wife and His Children. They are no longer the PEOPLE OF GOD.

This is too much in the Word of God, for so many people to miss this.

Read Isaiah 47 in connection with this study; it is full of the same meanings. This is speaking of when God cut off mystery ‘Babylon’ = old Jerusalem. = Law = old covenant.

V1- tells how he put her into the dust = out of his presence = into being the serpent’s meat. = Cut off from God.

He speaks of her nakedness being uncovered. In our last study, it spoke of his destroying those who became naked. This is the one he speaks of.

V5–Sit thou SILENT, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, the lady of kingdoms.

Now, most people will miss that this speaks of old Jerusalem – they will place it on the Catholic Church [which is the same thing] — but when you see that Jesus called Jerusalem the DESOLATE one who killed all the people of God –there can be no doubt that this is speaking of the old ‘wife’ of God being put away. She is told here to be SILENT — in other words, do not TEACH anymore, OT.

Also God showed me that this is tied to the Scripture where Paul told them your women keep silence. See it was because those churches went back to the old covenant of law. Picking back up the law once again polluted them. So since this was the law, and they became again that old done away with covenant, which had been told to be silent, it truly means that none of them, men or women could speak, or do the teaching and preaching. Since they had gone back to law, they could not teach. They have been rejected by God and told to be silent. What a pity and shame that so many have misunderstood Paul’s words and meaning and forbid true Christian women from doing the ministry which God called them to do. In the Word ‘women’ represent the churches; the nations. So it is these ‘law churches’; women, which he said to keep silence. It is not referring to Christian Women. It means these law churches; these law nations.

V6 shows that God was angry with them; we have already proven this. Then look at verse nine-But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood:

Did we not just read that they were the orphans and widows? See, then that this is the same one being spoken of in Lam.

V4 of Lam. 5– We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.

This shows they had been partaking of the mark of the beast in buying the word. In the OT they had been robbed by their leaders by having to pay for the things of God. Now again the church has polluted herself and began charging to give out the bread and water of the Word. This is your PAID preachers, or the hirelings. So those not knowing truth have fallen again into this trap of having to ‘buy’ their water and wood and bread.

V5- our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest.

They ‘labor’ at the works of the law which God had done away with. But they refused to leave that and come into true rest, that of the Holy Ghost. So they have no ‘rest’. See, then that the OT did not give them a true REST?

V6-We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.

The Egyptians and the Assyrians always typed Satan and the world in the word. So here we have them going into the false churches for help; but to no avail. They helped these false churches prosper, but it did not feed them spiritually. Now I know some will say this is not in this verse; but you must see that these things are used in a symbolical sense; as is the rest of the Word of God.

V7- Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.

Their fathers started with Adam. They sinned against God and are not. But it came on down unto the fake church still clinging to the law. They are the children of the OT fathers. So they have borne their iniquities because they are just as guilty as their fathers of sinning against God are. They tried to blame it on their fathers and thus accuse God of injustice. But see they bore their own sins. God had said everyone shall die for his or her own sins. So they are being punished for their own sins, which is the same sin as their fathers.

V8–Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.

This is great — it shows the Servants of Jesus = the N.T. ministers, had the ruler ship over that old law group of people; and no one could deliver them out of their hand and take them back to their place with God under that old covenant.

V9–shows that those who tried to receive spiritual ‘bread’ out of that old way now, endanger their own lives. The ‘sword of the wilderness’ was the New Testament message.

V10–Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.

This shows there was nothing left in that Old Testament but spiritual starvation.

V11- they ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah.

This is speaking of the NT ministers seeking to convert the people of the OT. They won many of them to Jesus and this is how they ‘ravished’ them.

V12– Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured.

They do not honour that OT group of leaders any longer.

V13–They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.

Grinding represents making bread, or teaching doctrine. Read in Is. 47. So this shows that the young men were taught to receive and teach the new truth of Grace. The ‘young’ ones means the ones who came into the ‘new’ covenant. New is ‘young’. So now only the ‘young’ or new ones can teach. The others are told to keep silence.

V14–The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick.

This shows that those OT leaders are no longer the ‘gateway’ to God; and the joy of that old way is no longer. Read Rev. 18.

v15–The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning. This fits the destruction of old Babylon in Rev. 18

V16– [this is powerful to understanding this message]–The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!

And Rev. 18-that they are now no longer the ‘queen’ of God. Their ‘crown’, or place of ruler ship, has been taken away from them and given to a nation bearing the fruits thereof = the New Church. They came under this ‘woe’ because they sinned in rejecting the change from the OT to the NT.

V17–For this our heart is FAINT; for these things our EYES ARE DIM.

See, they ‘fainted’ = did not hold out spiritually – they did not wait upon the Lord and follow where He led. So, their spiritual ‘eyes were dim’; they cannot see or know spiritual truth. They do not ‘hear’ what the Spirit says to the Churches.

V18–Because of the mountain of Zion, which is DESOLATE, the foxes walk upon it.

This shows that old T. Zion is now the DESOLATE ONE. There can be no doubt that Jesus pronounced this as being Jerusalem or the OT law covenant. The foxes are that which spoils the vines; so they are now ‘spoiled’ or desolate.

V19–Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.

This is great: they have been told that their ‘crown’ has fallen; [they are no longer the ruler for God] – but they must acknowledge that His throne will never end. He is now king to the NT. He moved from that old generation ~ to the New Generation of Grace. Glory to God!

V20- [Please take special note of this verse] ~Wherefore dost thou forget us FOR EVER, and forsake us SO LONG TIME?

Here, they show that God forsook that old way FOR EVER. He has NOT ~AND WILL NOT EVER TURN BACK TO THAT WAY OR THEM ~ AS THE PEOPLE OF GOD! If so, this verse would not be right.

V21–Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

See, they make one last attempt to get God to accept them back as the people of God; to take back that old way of law; but He rejects this attempt to change him from his determination to turn to Grace.

V22–But thou hast UTTERLY REJECTED US; thou art VERY WROTH AGAINST US.

Marvelous way for this book to end!

UTTERLY REJECTED THAT OLD COVENANT AS THE GATE TO HEAVEN ~ OR GOD ~ OR THE CITY OF GOD.

PEOPLE, YOU CANNOT GET TO GOD THROUGH THESE FORSAKEN GATES OF LAW AND OLD COVENANT; OLD JERUSALEM. IT IS ENDED. IT IS FORSAKEN FOREVER.

WHAT MORE NEED BE SAID?

He that hath ears to hear let him hear what the Spirit says to the CHURCHES.

This concludes our study in the Book of Lamentations. I do hope it has been a blessing to SOMEONE.

We will go into Jeremiah for our next study on this fall of the Old Testament.

part 7 fall of OT

Part 7

~~Fall of the OT covenant~~

Before I pick up with verse 22, I want to back up and show some Scriptural connections with some of the above verses.

In Lam 3:7 it said God hedged her about so she could not get out. Hosea 2:6-Therefore, behold I will HEDGE up thy way with THORNS, and make a WALL, that she shall not find her paths.

This is speaking of v5-her ‘mother who played the harlot’. Now we know this is the old whorish Jerusalem. So this is the one he said he hedged up so she could not get out. He cut off that old law which is the same as Jerusalem.

In verse 10 God said he was as a lion in secret places. Check this with Hosea 5:14-For I will be unto Ephraim [any doubt about who is being spoken of?]-As a LION and as a young lion to the house of Judah: [any doubt about who is being spoken of?]-I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him. Who? Judah. This is God saying He tore that law system, including Jesus the first man Adam, and did away with it.

V15-I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

6:1-Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

V2-After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight

V3-Then shall we know if we follow on to know the LORD; His going forth is prepared, as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Now this is Judah saying that they will return to the Lord after he had torn them. They are speaking of the resurrection of Jesus, when in the third day after his death, he would raise up some of those OT saints and take them over into the New Jerusalem = the NT Gospel.

Also, it speaks of their coming into the NT Church on the day of Pentecost.

Remember in Lam.3:4 he said he broke their bones; compare to Isaiah 38:13-I reckoned till morning, that, as a LION, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

Compare v6 with Psalm 88:1:6-v5[Jesus speaking] Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave.v6-Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. Remember he said God had brought him into darkness and not into light? This is the interpretation of that verse.

Now Lam. 3:22-26-22. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [They are saying here that God did not do away with them completely, because of His mercy in bringing them into the NT there on the Day of Pentecost.]

23. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

See, a new morning or day started at the resurrection of Jesus. The day of Grace started.

24. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

25. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

These verses are showing that there is hope in seeking God and waiting to come into the new day of Grace.

V27-It is good for a man that he bear the YOKE in his youth.

Is. 52: 2. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

This speaks of Jesus’ resurrection. When He arose, this was freeing him from the dust body. It also pictures the resurrection of all God’s true people that we will be delivered from this body of corruption. Sit down, O Jerusalem = this is calling Jesus Jerusalem, for this is the name of the Lord. This is the beginning of the New Jerusalem. This is Grace coming in. Loose thyself from the ‘bands’ of thy neck. This band was that yoke of law; of human dust frame. Those under that yoke of law and consequently a body of dust, were the captive daughters of Zion. When we come into grace, then later put on the glorified body, this will complete our being freed of those bands of law and human flesh.

Acts 15:10-Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a YOKE upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

He is calling that LAW a YOKE TO HARD TO BEAR-A YOKE OF IRON-A HEAVY CHAIN.

Why is it good for him to bear the YOKE in his youth?

Youth is childhood.

Gal. 3:23-But BEFORE FAITH came, we were kept under the law [THE YOKE]-shut up [he had shut them up, remember?]-Unto the FAITH which should AFTERWARDS be revealed.

After what? They had been shut up as a child= under the yoke = law.

V24-Wherefore the LAW [yoke]-was our SCHOOLMASTER [who goes to school? Children]-to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by FAITH.

V25-But after that FAITH is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. [Law; yoke].

Now for some glory; revelation!

Paul’s writings are very much misunderstood by the church world.

1Cor. 13:9-For we KNOW in PART, and we prophesy in part.

V10-But when that which is PERFECT is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

The LAW was that which was in part. Their prophecies were only in part; for they did not have the full glory = the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

V11-WHEN I WAS A CHILD,

[I will finish this in a minute; but look at this]-Hosea 11:1-WHEN ISRAEL WAS A CHILD, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

When Paul was an Israelite = in the law= then he was a child = under the schoolmaster= the law = knew in part = could only prophecy in part-see?

Now, Paul is a Christian.

V12-When I was a child, I spake as a CHILD, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. BUT when I became a MAN, [a man-child; in Christ]-I put away childish things.

Now, people of God, He just revealed this to me.

Paul is NOT speaking here of himself [as he was not in Romans 7] he is speaking of the Spiritual condition of mankind in both places.

The church world has misunderstood this passage and run wild with it. Lots of people even say this shows that the wonderful, much needed gifts of the Spirit have been done away with because we have the completed Scriptures to read. In other words people, they would have us believe the only thing we can have from God today is a book to read.

Paul is saying after he came to Grace, = spiritual man-hood, he put away the childish things of the law. Of seeing in part. Of knowing in part. Of seeing darkly.

V12-For now we SEE through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

This makes it look as if he is saying that now, as a true Christian he is only seeing [understanding darkly] but no! It is the same speech as in Romans 7 where he is speaking of mankind under the law as though it were of himself personally.

Here, Paul is saying to those people who were still holding onto law [as most of those churches in that day were] he is saying this as if it were them [for this is their condition] Now we [them; not Paul] see = understand- through a glass darkly. Now why was this?

11Cor. 3:13-And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

V14-But their minds [understanding] were BLINDED; = [dark]-for until THIS DAY remaineth the same veil [blindness; darkly]-untaken away [see it was STILL IN THAT CHURCH] in the reading of the Old Testament; which veil is done away in Christ. [When one becomes a MAN].

V15-But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.

[Now this does not imply that to read the words of the OT Books blinds one; it means that if as you read, you see it as law, that is the blindness. The very same words can speak grace to you if you have a spiritual mind. The carnal mind [the mind that sees law] cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness. The Law demands death and immediate punishment for every transgression, so forgiveness is totally foreign to a law minded person.]

V16-Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

V17-Now the Lord is that Spirit: [the Holy Ghost]-and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

V18-But we all, [who? Those who have turned to the Lord and had the veil taken away; became a man]-with OPEN face beholding [seeing] as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into this same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord

Changed from that glory of the ministration of death by Moses to the glory of the Spirit by which we see openly, face to face. Glory! Thank you my God for this great revelation!

This shows that those who turn to the Holy Ghost are NOW seeing the glory of the Lord plainly, face to face. This is NOT something still out in the future.

28. He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.

Is. 53: 7. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

This shows that all forsook Jesus at the cross and He stood there all alone. Remember how it says he openeth not his mouth? That is this silence. He did not try to defend himself and set himself free. He went to that cross willingly for us. It shows that he had borne the yoke of the law upon himself in his youth, or his stay on earth under that law covenant.

29. He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.

This shows that Jesus lived here in the dust frame of humanity. It also speaks of him going down into the grave where the body turns back to dust. This was the only hope for humanity to be redeemed back to God.

30. He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

Is. 50: 5. The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

6. I gave my back to the smiters and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

This shows that it is Jesus who gave his cheek to those who smote him.

Col. 2: 13. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

These verses in Col. prove that as Jesus died on that cross he also killed or did away with that law yoke. Yet it is very evident from all Paul’s writings that the church of his day had already healed that head of law which had been killed with that sword of the Lord and were again entangled with that yoke of bondage. So it is until this very day. I dare say there is not one church in America today which is living purely under grace. Their leaders declare you must be at a certain ‘church’ at a certain time. They declare you are under obligation = law–to be at your own home ‘church’ when they have their programs. You are not FREE to go wherever you feel led to go or desire to go. They take away the freedom Jesus gave you. They declare you MUST tithe, thus bringing you back under the OT law. They never study the NT Church in the Book of Acts and see that they were not under the law. They worshiped God every day. They gave 100% of their goods and themselves to the Lord. They were not under a law, or constrained to do this. They were to do it out of a willing heart. This is all God accepts under Grace. A law puts you back under that yoke of bondage, which Jesus freed you from. So by going back to law, you FALL away from Grace and Christ is of no effect unto you. And you sacrifice this glory of being under the power of Christ to have your little church programs. You are bound to their law, so they can have their churches full and get your money to spend on their buildings, which God despises. See the setting up of a man-made house for the Lord to dwell in is of the old covenant, which He did away with. All of these things put you back under that bondage of the yoke of law. Peter told us in Acts 15 that we are NOT to go back and keep the Law of Moses. Yet every church today thinks they must still go by that law. What a shame!

31. For the Lord will not cast off forever:

Zech. 11: 4. Thus saith the Lord my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;

5. Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.

6. For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbor’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.

7. And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

8. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

9. Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.

10. And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant, which I had made with all the people.

11. And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.

This shows the shepherds [the possessors of God’s people; their pastors] slay them [they slay them by taking them back into bondage of law]-and hold themselves not guilty, for they are getting their riches and their little programs upheld. Jesus took his two staves and broke them. In doing so he cut off three shepherds. What were these shepherds? The cut off prophets priests and kings of the OT. These were the shepherds of the OT. See that they hated Jesus and he also hated them. They are the very ones who persecuted Jesus all his days and finally had him killed.

Verse 9 He said he would not feed them but would let them die. This is saying the same thing we have already shown that there was no food left in that Old Covenant.

He took his staff Beauty and cut it asunder thus breaking his covenant with all the people. Since we know the Word said Grace is an everlasting covenant, this has to be the covenant of law he cut off. The poor of the flock that waited upon him were the NT Christians. These were those who came out of that dead old law covenant and came into Grace.

part 6 fall of OT

Part 6

Fall of the old covenant

This lesson will start with Lam. 3.

This is a long and deep chapter. It has a two-fold meaning. It is speaking in the first person as the OT and also as Jesus.

Now, Jesus came to this earth under the law of the OT. He was made a curse for us, to redeem us from the curse of the law- Gal 3:13

So, in this sense Jesus, in the flesh, same as Moses, represents the law.

Now, verse one: I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. Old Testament speaking; Jesus speaking.

Read Isaiah 53 you will see that Jesus was smitten by God; afflicted for us. V4-Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Lam.3:2-He hath led me, and brought me into darkness but not into light. Here Jesus is saying he was led into the Dark Age of the Law; but not into the light of Grace. Also those under that covenant say this.

V3-shows God is against them. This is also showing that God forsook Jesus at Calvary. This chapter is very much prophecy about the crucifixion of Jesus.

V4-{this is great} My flash and my skin hath he made old. He hath broken my bones.

In Heb. We are told that the law waxed old and vanished away. Not a bone of Jesus was broken on the cross; so this is saying all his OT bones [those in that tree of law] were all broken. Remember in Isaiah it said they were broken, taken and snared. That is this prophecy fulfilled.

V5-He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. This is the water made bitter in Rev. The law was the gall; or the bitterness, which made them dead. The travail is their going through the wrath of God upon them. Also their travail to bring Jesus forth.

But the deeper meaning is this is Jesus speaking of his sufferings at the time of his death. This is the travail of Jesus there at Calvary.

Is. 53:11. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

See this verse shows that this is the travail of Jesus’ soul. Many Scriptures reveal glorious things about Jesus, which goes unnoticed by most people. This is truly a shame that so few see the real beauty of the Word of God.V6-He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.

This is the law saying God put them into darkness, which is the same as death. See, the ‘of old’ refers to those before the flood; they too, had turned away from God to law. And of course this is still speaking of Jesus at his death.

V7-He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out; he hath made my chain heavy.

This is showing Jesus as he was bound by this human flesh and the agony he had to go through when the sins of the whole world were placed upon him.

This also shows he completely did away with that old law; they could not find a way out of it. The law was a heavy chain upon their necks.

Remember the apostles said not to put that yoke back on the Christians, which their fathers could not endure for it was so heavy.

I just had a revelation I never saw before: this is linked with that ‘chain’ which bound Satan up for the thousand years. I am beginning to believe that Satan and the law are synonymous.

V8-Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

This shows that by the law, no prayers will be answered. He does not hear from that old covenant now. But it also pertains to the time when God forsook Jesus on that cross. You see, what most people do not seem to realize, and what the ‘ministers’ of the land have failed to see and show to the sheep, is that Jesus actually [through having taken our place, and the sins of the world being placed upon him], that he became ‘the worst sinner’ who ever lived. Now I know this statement may be met with much animosity and disbelief or indignation, but when you really see it, Jesus took upon himself, or on his record all the sins which were ever committed. Thus He truly paid the price for the sins of everyone who ever lived. If you go to hell, you must reject His atonement for your sins. For many years as I read Psalms, I would see that it spoke of Jesus. But then I would read where he spoke of his many and mighty sins and it would throw me off. I prayed for understanding of this. Then one day as I went through this same thing, God spoke to my understanding and showed me that it truly was Jesus (all of Psalms is Jesus’ words, as of course is the rest of the Word). God showed me that it means that Jesus actually became the worst sinner in the world; because he took upon himself all our sins and they are counted as being his. It is completely true- he took our sins upon himself as if He did them all. That is how profound his substitution for us is.

V9-He hath enclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.

Now John the Baptist came to make straight paths for the Lord; in other words John bridged the gap between the OT and the NT. He set things straight. He taught Grace. He was the one who brought forth the head stone crying ‘Grace, Grace’ to it. Those left in the OT have crooked paths.

See, also that their way is enclosed with stone; this shows the stony heart which still has the OT law in it. They were a fountain shut up as in Song of Solomon.

No living water could come forth from this closed up fountain. It is enclosed with stone. This is that 10 commandment law, written and engraven on stone. So it shows that the way of law is the crooked path. Jesus came here under that crooked path. These stones of law hewed his ways.

10. He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.

Now God showed me that the seven headed beast in Daniel is Satan’s kingdom on earth headed up by seven main divisions of mankind from the beginning of man on earth until the close of the OT.

That first head of the lion with the eagle’s wings was Adam. He was the first head over mankind. The eagle’s wings shows they still had immortality at that time.

The next head was a bear. This was Noah. It says he raised himself up on one side. This is speaking of the other side of the flood. See he came up on the other side of the flood and then started life over on this side of the flood. The three ribs in his mouth were his three sons and their wives.

So this verse is showing that God destroyed both societies because they partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is that law. So this is the law saying God was unto her as this bear and this lion. See as he cast them out of that Garden, this destroyed that society of immortal beings. Then he again destroyed them in the flood. I know this is getting to be a long message, but just think of the hidden food, which is here!

So I am warning everyone who partakes again of law, you are headed for destruction. If God did this to those people because of this evil, do you think He will spare you who left Jesus’ Grace He bought for us with his death, and went back to law? Of how much sorer punishment do you think they are worthy who have trampled the blood of Jesus and did despite to the Spirit of Grace?

V11-shows he made them DESOLATE. We know Jesus told Jerusalem, ‘your house is left unto you desolate’. So this is about that. This speaks to the law, you are made desolate.

12. He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

This speaks of that bow and arrow given to the rider on that horse under the first seal. This was that first Church as it went forth conquering that OT and bringing it into the New. He set his bow against them and destroyed them- that 7th head of law. But it also speaks of Jesus being smitten of God. [Is. 53]

13. He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

14. I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.

If you wish to see some beauty in the Word, read Job 30. I dare say very few people have ever seen that the Book of Job is really prophecy about Jesus, therefore they miss the real and true meaning. Job 30 is speaking of the crucifixion of Jesus. I would love to take the whole chapter and lay it out here verse by verse, but that would be a whole message on its own. So I will just give you this much to prove here that this is Jesus being spoken of.

Job 30:9. And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.

10. They abhor me; they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

This was fulfilled to Jesus at Calvary.

15. He hath filled me with bitterness; he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

16. He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones; he hath covered me with ashes.

17. And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.

All these verses speak of Jesus and the law as they were put to death by God’s own decree. They both died there on that cross.

The next verses all are saying how God destroyed them as a people [the law].

V18-And I said, My strength and my hope are perished from the LORD;

V19-Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

V20-My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

V21-This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

Now, here she humbles herself and sees HOPE. Why? She sees the NT Grace and knows if she gets there, God will again give her the blessings she has been stripped of.

Jesus at the cross, looked ahead and for the glory set BEFORE him, endured the cross, despising the shame. He saw the glory of the resurrection when He would wake in the image and likeness of God; when he would again have the glory he had with the Father before the world was.

Psm. 17: 15. As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

You will miss the glory if you think this is David saying this- it is Jesus. When He came out of that grave this was when he came forth in glory- in the likeness and glory of the eternal God.

This was their hope; this is our great hope; this is how we humble ourselves and endure whatever comes against us here for the hope He has given us of eternal life. It is worth it all, dear people.

I will pick up with v22 next time.
